Note to the Professors of the Faculty of Philosophy at PUST
Dear Colleagues,
As you know, I am preparing and uploading this site. It is under construction and it will take some time to include everybody.
I have reserved some space for each professor of PUST. I will mainly upload information that is already published by this University. To get some supplementary (and more personal) information, I need your cooperation. Please provide me (by e-mail) with the information about yourself that you would like to see on your page. To get some ideas about what is possible, you can visit the pages of professor Tavuzzi.
When sending me material for publication on the internet, please respect the following guidelines:
- Chronological lists (curricula vitæ, bibliographies) should be arranged in such a way that the reader can see the most recent entry at the top.
- Books should be referenced in this way: First Name LAST NAME, Title, City: Editor, Year. Example:
- John SEYMOUR, The Complete Book of Self-Sufficiency, London: Dorling Kindersley, 1996.
- Articles: First Name LAST NAME, «Title», in: Title of Journal Volume (Year), pagepage. Examples:
- Anthony KEATY, «The Holy Spirit Proceeding as Mutual Love: An Interpretation of Aquinas' Summa Theologiæ I, 37», in: Angelicum 77 (2000), 533557.
- Robert SOKOLOWSKI, «Natural and Artificial Intelligence», in: Stephen R. GRAUBARD (editor), The Artificial Intelligence Debate. False Starts, Real Foundations, Cambridge Mass.: MIT Press, 1988, 4564.
- Texts should be saved in Rich-Text-Format («RTF», file extension: «.rtf»), an option that can be found on most text-processing programs under the command «Save as
» in the Menu «File».
- Pictures should be saved in JPEG-Format (file extension: «.jpg») with a resolution of 72 dpi (higher resolution doesn't improve what the surfer sees but significantly increases the download-time). For the first page, the picture should not be larger than 5 x 5 cm, but you can add as many larger photographs for other pages as you want. Please choose dimensions and resolution of your photographs in such a way that the result is of good quality.
- Please be conscious that the publication on the WWW constitutes a publication in a legal sense; make sure that you own the copyright of the material you want to publish or have a written consent of the owner of the copyright (this applies for example to official photographs: the copyright remains normally with the photographer).
Please help me also to keep the pages as up to date and error-free as possible and don't hesitate to send me your suggestions.
