Reading of a Classical Philosophical Text

  • This course will consist in a reading and commentary on Book Gamma of Aristotle's Metaphysics.
  1. Proofs that all of the sciences are based on common and evident principles.
  2. A defence and explanation of the principle of non-contradiction.
  3. Terms define something necessarily insofar as they catch its essence.
