STOQ project

• "STOQ" is the abbreviation of "Science, Theology and the Ontological Quest".
• The Licenciate Program of the Faculty of Philosophy of PUST participates together with other Pontifical Universities in Rome in the STOQ III project. The Project is coordinated by the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Culture; it is financed by the John Templeton Foundation.
• The aim of the project is to forster study and research in the field of the relations between the sciences and faith.
• The programs of the STOQ project at PUST are organized and co-ordinated by Prof. Albert Bagood OP and Prof. Alessandro Salucci OP.
• Programs at PUST:
  • Academic year 2007–2008
    • First semester: Series of lectures The Life of Man.
    • Second semester, Monday 8.30–10.15: Course Verso una filosofia positiva della passione by Prof. Albert Bagood OP.
  • Academic year 2006–2007
    • Monday 7 May 2007, 8.30–12.10, Aula 11: Evolution and Religion.
